Happy International Pride Day
Today we celebrate International Pride Day, a very special day to recognize diversity, freedom, and the beauty of being yourself. Pride has a history of struggle and visibility, but also of joy, community, and celebration.
A pride that also defines us
At Sexy & Cutie, this date holds special meaning for us, because our brand was born from a very simple idea: to dress, express, and desire without limits. We like to think of fashion as a free space where everyone can feel comfortable, visible, and authentic.
We love the rainbow and everything it represents within the LGBTQ+ story, but we also feel there are many more ways to talk about inclusion. Human diversity is enormous, and that's why we're inspired by a broader, more open, and more contemporary perspective.
Beyond the Rainbow
That's why we've chosen the Infinite Progress Flag, a flag that goes a step beyond the traditional rainbow and that we find particularly consistent with our vision. Its design is based on Daniel Quasar's Progress Pride Flag, and adds even more layers of representation to address intersectionality, intersexuality, and neurodiversity.
What we love about this flag is that it doesn't try to simplify who we are. On the contrary, it embraces the complexity, the mix, and the richness of human identities, something that fits perfectly with the spirit of Sexy & Cutie.
Our way of celebrating
For us, celebrating Pride also means celebrating everyone who is part of this community in all its forms: men, women, trans people, non-binary people, gender fluid people, queer people, heterosexual people, people of color, white people, neurodivergent people, and all those who don't feel represented by a single label.
We don't want to create a brand that speaks to only one part of the world. We want a brand that accompanies different ways of being, seeing, and feeling, with respect, with affection, and with an aesthetic that can also be free.
